tailgate styling tips by Kaley Cook

Football season is finally back in full swing, and the cooler fall temperatures aren’t too far behind (I hope)! In the south, tailgating is *almost* as important as the game itself. From string lights and sound systems, to table settings and tents, the southern tailgate is a serious sport of its own. Today, I’m sharing my fall-inspired Georgia Dawgs tailgate, and a few tips to make yours one to remember!

Mixing and matching neutral pillows, throws, poufs and rugs creates a great base and ensures you and your friends have a comfortable place to tailgate. Add in a table for feasting - or, in this case, a low picnic table - and decorate! To keep cleaning minimal, set out decorative chargers and opt for paper plates.

The last essential part of the southern tailgate is the attire. I’m loving the new set of tees over at Stewart Simmons and can’t wait to wear them all this season! The oversized tee is so soft and flattering, the long sleeve is so nice paired with a high waisted denim, and the embroidered tee is just darling. Happy tailgating!
